The vineyards of Cantine di Ora can be found in the Italian region of Veneto, where history, culture and romance are all intertwined between the cities of Verona & Venice. Focusing on a passion for the grapes themselves, their wines are fruit-driven and authentically Venetian. Valpolicella Ripasso 2020 is made from a blend of Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella. It's been made in the Ripasso method, where the leftover lees from Amarone is combined and second-fermented with standard Valpolicella wine to create more depth & flavour. Sitting between the heft of an Amarone and lightness of a Valpolicella, it's soft, incredibly well-rounded and juicy. Bursting with notes of cherry, strawberry, plum and vanilla, it's so moreish and a great wine to pair with gamey dishes.
