Montenidoli, Canaiuolo Rosato 2022

Husband-wife duo Elisabetta & Sergio Fagiuoli have winemaking in their blood, with Elisabetta being able to trace familial vine cultivation back to the early 1700s. Revitalising an ancient vineyard following into disrepair, they have now been running Montenidoli together for over 60 years. Canaiolo Rosato 2022 is a soft & savoury rosé made from 100% hand-harvested Canaiuolo grapes. Notes of watermelon, juicy strawberry and pomegranate are on the nose which move to a light palate with vibrant acidity and further flavours of ripe cherry and raspberry. A great with to pair with salmon or simply enjoy on its own as an aperitif.
