Matthias Warnung, Espere Rosé 2017

Matthias Warnung grew up in a traditional, small family-owned winery. However, after spending time in vineyards around the world, his passion for producing natural wines grew. Sticking to his mantra of producing wines as if they were only for himself (good on him), he makes his unique wines from just 10h of vineyard space. Espere Rosé 2017 is made from 100% Zweigelt, an indigenous Austrian grape variety. Expect pronounced flavours of wild summer berries and hibiscus blossom, which give way to notes of pomegranate, watermelon and apple on the palate. A really bright, delicate, yet complex wine: not your average rosé.
