Lunadoro, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Pagliareto 2018

Whilst Lunadoro is a small winery, at only 12h of vineyard space, they boast some of the best terroir in all of Montepulciano. 10h are dedicated to Sangiovese, with the remaining 2h a split between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Achieving DOCG status for all of their wines, the team at Lunadoro truly respect their winemaking heritage and the land on which they farm. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Pagliareto 2018 is made using 100% Sangiovese. An intense ruby ​​red in colour with garnet reflections; it has a complex nose of ripe red cherry, raspberry, plum jam and a floral touch of violet. The palate is rich but balanced, with sweet tannins and an acidity that enhances the flavours of oak, vanilla and strawberry on the long finish.
