Kamara, Shadow Play White 2021

Kamara are a winery which we absolutely love at Vinebud. Based out of Thessaloniki, Greece, they believe in minimal intervention from grape to glass. Guided by nature and inspired by 2000 year old traditions, they produce incredibly pure wines simply from soil, grape and sun. Shadow Play White 2021 is made from 100% biodynamically grown Assyrtiko. Bright golden colour; it has a rich, intense nose which evolves minute after minute in the glass. Notes of pear and quince move into more herbaceous aromas of sage, acacia and laurel. The palate is refreshing and bright, with a nice long finish. A great wine to pair with hard salty cheeses like feta or halloumi.
