Georgas Family, Aged Sweet White Wine NV

The Georgas Family have been farming grapes in their native region of Spata, just outside of Athens, for over 100 years. Believing in minimal intervention, they are fully organic certified and truly let their grapes do the talking. Aged Sweet White Wine NV is a low production (1000 bottles) sweet wine made from 100% 50-year-old Savatiano vines. Aged for 5 years prior to release, it's a delicious medium copper colour, yet makes for a light and juicy wine. Notes of nuts and dried fruit are present on the nose, moving to a complex palate with flavours of baked orange and peach, culminating with a long sweet finish. A great dessert wine not too dissimilar from PX Sherry; best served chilled.
