Savatiano is Greece’s most widely planted grape variety, and used to make some of the country’s most famous white wines. Grown well, and Savatiano is capable of producing complex and intense wines, with notes of citrus fruits and wild white flowers. It’s a really good pair with rich smoked fish dishes.
