Chateau Béla, Riesling 2020

Created by German wine-superstar, Egon Müller, the man who was recently awarded Fine Winemaker of the Year 2023 (SWA Awards), Chateau Béla is his passion-project making some of Slovakia's finest Rieslings. Located close to the Danube River in Southern Slovakia near the Hungarian border, Château Belá’s 20 ha vineyard estate has been producing wines since 2001. Riesling 2020 is a refined, dry Riesling with limey flavours and textures reminiscent of classic Mosel wines. Aromatic with notes of tropical fruit and candied lemon, green apple and honey; the palate has a mouth-watering acidity and incredibly mineral crispness on the finish. An absolutely stunning hidden gem and one we can't get enough of.
