Cantina Iuli, Umberta 2021

Whilst Fabrizio Iuli grew up in his family's award winning restaurant business, it was his customers' demand for an exquisitely paired wine which set him on his path into winemaking, which we're quite thankful for at Vinebud. Named for a close friend of Fabrizio, Umberta 2021 is a lighter styled Barbera which is fresh, fruity, and very easy to drink. Bright flavours of raspberry and cherry are backed up with some lively notes of wild blackberry and dark plum. An excellent entry level Barbera for those new to the grape and a great pair with spontaneous dinners with friends.
