Vidiano

Flag of Greece

Vidiano is an ancient grape variety native to the island of Crete. It was almost extinct not long ago, but young Greek winemakers are beginning to realise what a loss that would be to the world of wine. Vidiano produces white wines which are medium-full bodied and have flavours of ripe apricot, honey and melon.
