Flag of Italy

Vernaccia is a white grape from the northern and central parts of Italy, and stands out as making some of the regions' top white wines. It has been cultivated for centuries, and can even be found mentioned in Dante’s Divine Comedy, written in 1320. Expect flavours of salted almonds, lemon zest and peach.
