St Laurent

Image of St Laurent
Flag of Austria

Whilst the exact origins of St Laurent are unknown, it’s now a red grape grown extensively throughout Austria and the Czech Republic. It produces world-class red wines slightly more robust and slightly less subtle, but not entirely dissimilar, to Pinot Noir. Strong notes of cherry, prune and mushroom – this is a grape worth seeking out.
