Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is probably Italy’s most prized red grape, and behind some of the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world in Barolo and Barbaresco. Native to Piedmont, Nebbiolo thrives in the cool, high-altitude vineyards of the Langhe Mountains; with the grape’s name deriving from the blanket of “nebbia” (meaning fog) which cover the vineyards.
