Greco is a Greek grape, but is now more commonly planted in Campania, Italy, where it’s thought it crossed the Mediterranean Sea thousands of years ago. The best examples produce medium-bodied, yet freshly herbal wine. Armed with excellent acidity, these wines are best enjoyed young and paired with food, particularly creamy chicken dishes.
