Dolcetto

Dolcetto is a little-known red grape native to Piedmont, Northern Italy. Whilst it’s not as famous as its neighbour grape, Nebbiolo; for those in the know, Dolcetto wine really is a diamond in the rough. An intense nose of liquorice gives way to black cherry, prune and almond – it’s certainly a wine worth knowing about.
