Colorino is an obscure Italian black-skinned grape variety from Tuscany. As the name suggests, its main use is as a blending ingredient to add colour to wines. As well as being deeply pigmented, Colorino's small berries have elevated tannin levels and make for a great blending partner with Sangiovese and Montepulciano.
