Clairette, French for “light one”, is a lesser-known white wine grape, mainly produced in the Languedoc and Rhône Valley. Because of its low acidity and heady floral notes, Clairette is a great addition to sparkling wines, as well as making light, fresh and easy-drinking still wines.
