Areni Noir

Areni Noir is one of those lesser-known, but nevertheless ancient grape varieties. Found in the Trancaucasus of Armenia & Turkey (the birthplace of wine-making), Areni Noir produces red wine which even the Romans were drinking. Full-bodied, elegant and fresh – this a grape which definitely deserves a renaissance.
