Vina Eden, Pueblo Chardonnay 2018

A stone’s throw away from the coastal city of Punta del Este, Viña Eden sits on the slopes of Uruguay's Pueblo Edén Mountains. The altitude, soil profile and Atlantic influence provide the ideal conditions for producing stunning wines. It’s not by chance that many draw parallels between Pueblo Eden and some of the best vineyards in Bordeaux and Tuscany. Pueblo Chardonnay 2018 is a superb example of New World white wine. More tropical flavours than its European counterparts, on the nose it opens with aromas of juicy lychee, white peach and pear. On the palate, it is generous and expressive with the same tropical notes alongside a touch of grapefruit zest, which provides a delicious refreshing element and makes it all the more versatile with food.
