Villa Schinosa, Falanghina 2022

Villa Schinosa was established in 1960 and is now into its third generation of the Minutolo family to farm its vineyards. Based just outside of the town of Corato, Apulia, they specialise in the big, fruity wines for which southern Italy is best known. Falanghina 2022 is a gorgeously intense white. The nose is richly aromatic with notes of pear, blossom and ripe peach; which moves to a refreshing palate with a medium-body, balanced acidity, and further flavours of lemon peel, melon and almond. A lovely wine to pair with roast chicken or shellfish.
