​It was the dream of Nelson Cenci, a doctor and writer, to revive his family's historic vineyards at the foot of Monte Orfano in the southernmost reaches of Franciacorta, Italy. Now his daughter, Giuliana, and nephew, Maurizio, are continuing what Nelson started, with a focus on producing world-class sparkling wine. La Capinera Rosè Brut NV has a tantalising bouquet and intensely seductive nose of blackberry, redcurrant, cherry and morello; followed with a crisp & fruity palate. Despite the rather weighty appearance, this is a light, fresh, pleasingly subtle, linear wine. Refreshing. Perfect for enjoying at any time of the day as an aperítif or paired with shellfish.
