Tropo, Big Red 2021

The Tropo range of wines is produced by Brendan and Laura Carter of Unico Zelo renown. These wines retain Unico Zelo’s irreverent and fun-loving approach, whilst simultaneously highlighting the quality of their beloved Adelaide Hills fruit. Always quaffable and fruit-forward, yet with an admirable degree of complexity, the Tropo range are just pure enjoyment. Big Red 2021 is made from a blend of 51% Syrah and 49% Merlot taken from the Birdwood vineyard in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Bold, spicy and attractively fresh, this combines youthful flavours of blueberry, with green olives and dried herbs on the long finish. The fine tannins add bite and are balanced by the zippy acidity. A great wine to pair with your next BBQ.
