Ramirana, Cabernet/Carménère Reserva 2020

Ramirana was born in the Chilean countryside, linked to the traditions of the Criollo horse (its likeness is found on each bottle) which are native to the Pampas and known for their hardiness and strength. Specialising in producing balanced, elegant and fresh wines; suffice it to say the fruit takes the reins with Ramirana and their wines are not only delicious but also represent superb value. Cabernet/Carménère Reserva 2020 is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Carménère taken from vineyards in Chile's storied Valle del Maipo. Intense purple with ruby ​​reflections, it has an intense nose dominated by ripe red fruit from the Cab and complemented by Carménère's classic spicy/minty notes. The palate is well balanced with soft tannins and bright acidity, making this a great wine to pair with hard cheeses or grilled red meats.
