Pala, Centosere 2022

Pala’s roots go deep into the land of Sardinia. Salvatore Pala established the estate in 1950; since 1995 his son Mario has transformed both winery and vineyards into a modern-day reference point for Sardinian wine. Pala capture this diversity, offering wines of modern purity with genuine Sardinian style. Centosere 2022 is made from 100% Cannonau, the Sardinian word for Grenache. The grapes were harvested and aged for 6 months in a mixture of stainless steel and concrete to retain freshness in the wine. A nose of ripe raspberry, juicy strawberry and a little thyme leads to an intensely fruity palate with smooth tannins and good acidity. A great wine to pair with richer, spiced dishes like stews.
