MacRobert and Canals, Laventura Garnacha 2019

Born of a love for wine shared between a South African winemaker and his Spanish father-in-law, MacRobert & Canals brings together two of the most passionate winegrowing nations in the world, blending traditions & ideas to produce truly unique wines. Laventura Garnacha 2019 is pale ruby in colour with aromas of juicy cranberries, raspberry and ripe red cherry. As it opens up, expect flavours of brioche, vanilla, a little sweet cinnamon along with some notes of black pepper. The palate is light and textured with soft tannins, but the good level of acidity means it will stand up well to a variety of foods; for us this is a knockout with lamb.
