M'hudi Famliy, Chenin Blanc 2021

M’hudi’s story is the story of South Africa’s promise, found in its townships and vineyards and everywhere in between. It is only one of a handful of farms or wineries in the country which is owned entirely by ethnically African people. Calling Stellenbosch home, M'hudi have quickly garnered a reputation as one of South Africa's most exciting new wineries. Chenin Blanc 2021 is a gorgeously rich & ripe Chenin fermented and aged for 10 months in oak. A nose of apricot, pineapple, ripe lemon and pear moves to a richly textured palate with further fruity notes along with flavours of oak and cream. Super expressive and with an unbelievably long finish, it is definitely a wine to savour and not one to miss. Recent winner of a Double Gold Award at the International Wine Awards 2022.
