Feudo Arancio, Nero d'Avola 2021

Feudo Arancio consists in fact of two estates, with red varieties planted at Sambuca di Sicilia in the northwest of the island, and whites in Acate near its southern coast. The clay-like soils and intense heat of Sicily make it the perfect place for producing intensely fruity wines. And that is exactly what we have in this Nero d'Avola 2021. Ruby red in colour and with a pronounced nose of redcurrant, wild strawberry, and some spice from its spending 6 maturing in oak prior to bottling. The palate is smooth, fruity and inviting; with more fruity flavours and a nice finish. A fantastic pizza wine.
