Even Keel, Polperro Chardonnay 2022

Polperro Chardonnay 2022 is taken from two different vineyards, Bassat and Mill Hill, in the Mornington Peninsula. The grapes were hand-harvested and underwent full malolactic fermentation before being matured in oak for 12 months prior to release. A broad swathe of white peach, truffle, ripe lemon, cantaloupe and oak across the nose. Mid-weighted but generous on the palate; gorgeously creamy with a good level of acidity both balancing the wine and carrying the long finish. For lovers of white Burgundy, this is definitely one to try.
