Domaine St Louis, Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Domaine St Louis is a true stalwart of France's Languedoc region, with the vineyards now into their 7th generation of family ownership. They farm completely organically and regeneratively, meaning they care for all of the plants and animals which inhabit their vineyards, not just the grapes, believing that strengthening their biodiversity as a whole improves the wine; something we certainly agree with. Sauvignon Blanc 2022 has a lively and fresh nose with aromas of lemon, nettle, citrus zest and blossom, and becomes more mineral with a little aeration. The palate is supple and honeyed, with a tangy structure and more citrussy-lemony flavours and bright acidity. A wine with lots of energy and best enjoyed young as an aperitif or grilled fish.
