Duckhorn Vineyards established their Decoy range in 1985 to better showcase how smaller-scale wineries can still have great quality, a good price and a distinctive style - particularly one which expresses its full charm and complexity in its youth. Their Limited Ed Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is actually a blend of 92% Cab and 8% Merlot taken from a couple of prestigious sites across the storied region of Napa Valley. A nose of blackberry, cassis and violet move to a super silky, velvety palate with flavours of bramble, dark chocolate and tobacco. An awesome Napa Cab and one to make a good, hearty meal that extra bit special.
