Cien y Pico, En Vaso Manchuela Bobal 2017

The name Cien y Pico means "Hundred and something" and refers to the age of the ancient Bobal vines from which this wine is made. The project is the result of the personal quest of 4 dedicated winemakers to preserve their 19th century vineyards in the midst of EU-subsidised programs of uprooting old vines. When the team first visited the region and tasted the wines, they agreed that something needed to be done and Cien y Pico was born. En Vaso Manchuela Bobal 2017 has a very vibrant nose which shows abundant wild bramble flavours along with earthy aromas of dark chocolate. The palate is soft and juicy, with enticing notes of blackberries, blackcurrant and sweet-spicy cinnamon on an uplifting fresh & fruity finish.
