Bodegas Verum, Las Tinadas 2019

The team at Bodegas Verum firmly believe that the best wine is made in the vineyard, not the winery, which is a philosophy we're certainly on board with. Based in Spain's historic La Mancha region, they specialise in the production of indigenous Spanish grape varieties. Las Tinadas 2019 is made from 100% Airén, and taken from vines up to 70-years-old. With the vineyards sitting on limestone soils, the wine has a lovely mineral aroma on the nose, which leads to more complex grassy notes and flavours of juicy peach on the palate. With a fresh and very balanced acidity, this is a really food-friendly wine and for lovers of Sauvignon Blanc, certainly one to try.
