Bera, Canelli Moscato d'Asti 2024

Flag of Italy

Nestled in the heart of Canelli (Piedmont), Bera Vittorio & Figli traces its estate-bottled history back to 1964, though vines date to the 18th century. A pioneer in organic farming, they cultivate old-vine Moscato Bianco on steep, calcareous slopes with minimal intervention. Vineyard work is hand-harvested with yields kept low, spontaneous fermentations occur in tank, and production follows a traditional Asti method refined for depth and finesse. Canelli 2024 is a pale straw with a cream-fine mousse, it greets the nose with lifted jasmine, orange blossom, and hints of apricot and peach. The palate is sweet yet brightened by zesty citrus and minty herbal accents, underpinned by vivid acidity and a soft, mousse-driven texture . Finishing fresh and gently frothy, it’s a harmonious, elegant Moscato perfect for fresh fruit desserts or an aperitif moment.
