Achillée, Pépin Orange NV

With regional winemaking in the family going back 400 years, the team at Achillée are experts on the grapes Alsace grows best. The name for the winery comes from a yarrow which is used in biodynamic winemaking and grows in abundance on the farm, with the Achillée winery also boasting the title of being the largest building made of straw in Europe. For this, the 26th iteration of Pépin Orange NV, has been made with 100% Gewürztraminer. Incredibly vibrant and fruit-driven on the nose it bursts with notes of ripe tangerine, elderflower, lychee and white pepper. The palate is rich, yet silky with a real depth of tropical, spicy flavour. An absolute pleasure to drink and one of our favourite orange wines.
