Treixadura (pronounced tresh’a-doo-ra) is considered one of the jewels of Portugal’s white grape varieties. Whilst it is notoriously hard to grow, done well and the resulting wines are aromatic, delicate, floral and undeniably elegant. It’s very much a food-friendly grape, and pairs well with a range of seafood and vegetable dishes.
