Teran

Teran is a red grape native to Istria, Croatia. Similar in structure and flavour to Italy's Refosco, Teran thrives in alpine regions and makes wines with lots of forest berry flavours, high levels of acidity and crunchy tannins; which is also why it's used as a great blending partner with softer varieties like Merlot.
