Loureiro

Loureiro is a white grape from Portugal, and is used to make the famous Vinho Verde white and rosé wines. Loureiro means, “laurel” and refers to the distinctive bay-leaf aroma of the berries. It is thought to be a distant relative of the world-renowned Albariño, and likewise goes very well with shellfish.
