Carricante is a white wine grape indigenous to the black volcanic soils of Mount Etna, Sicily, where experts believe it has been growing for over 1000 years. Carricante has high levels of acidity, which makes it a great grape both for blending and also to pair with a meal, particularly grilled seafood.
