Alvarelhão

Alvarelhão, also known as Brancellao or Alvarello, is a red wine grape variety that is only really grown in Portugal. Mainly found in the Vinho Verde and Douro regions, its lighter body and high acidity makes it a good blending partner in both red and Port wine production.
